Cervical Screening Tests

Cervical Screening Tests – a new choice

Starting from age 25, us women need to have a Cervical Screening Test (CST) every five years until we’re 74.

But now, if you like, you can swab yourself, in your own safe space to check up on Women’s Business. It’s easy and just as accurate as if the doctor or nurse did it.

The CST detects a virus called HPV. It’s super common, but some types can cause problems, and in some cases, this can lead to cancer.

Have a yarn with the doctor, nurse, or health worker at Kambu Health and ask for a CST.

We will yarn you through your options, including collecting your own swab.
