Simone Jackson

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Hello, my name is Simone Jackson, and I am a proud Kamilaroi woman.

I have worked for over 25 years in Government in both Queensland and the Northern Territory.

My early years were in Gailes and Inala, moving to the northern suburbs for high school. I took on the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role in mid-January 2021 and have relocated to Ipswich permanently.

My career has included all areas of human services with a specific focus on Aboriginal Affairs and Child Protection in both Queensland and the Northern Territory.

I am the Deputy Chair of the Child Death Review Board, a member of Queensland Parole Board, and on the board of Thriving Queensland Kids Partnerships.

As the Chief Executive Officer, I am leading the service through significant growth and change.  As Kambu Health returns to being a standalone entity we focus on quality and equitable health care with an emphasis on prevention and disease management.

At Kambu Health, our priority will always be “Our People, Our Community, Our Health, Our Way’.

Kambu Health will design and lead our services with cultural authority, respect, commitment, and local expertise, meeting the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of our community.

We have an extensive list of services, programs, and activities on offer, consider becoming a member through completing a Membership Form and or call us to book an appointment today for your health check, to start your journey to improved health and health care management in a culturally safe environment that is here to meet your individual needs.
