A Cardiologist comes to Kambu Health monthly.

Did you know one of the largest contributors to the Health Gap of Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians is cardiovascular disease and strokes?

Kambu Health is committed to improving health outcomes by delivering culturally appropriate clinical care for mob who are at high risk of, or already experiencing heart conditions.

Prevention is just as important as treatment of cardiac issues. Cardiologist, Dr Farhan Syed, attends the Kambu Health, Ipswich Clinic on the Fourth Tuesday of each month.

In addition to that we have an ECHO Clinic every second Friday of the month.

Fun Fact: An Echocardiogram is a non-invasive test, using ultrasound, that tests the function and structure of the heart.

Prevention is just as important as treatment of cardiac issues! So, if you have family history of heart disease, or you’ve already been diagnosed with a heart condition speak with your GP about a referral. Your Cardiologist clinic appointments can be made once you have your referral by calling the Kambu Health Ipswich clinic.
