Value our Elders Project

Strong support is provided for elders in the community with events such as the quarterly morning tea to bring together the elders. Regular health checks and catch-ups are run from Kambu Health to encourage good health and consistent treatment for elders with chronic diseases. 

This program looks at involving our Elders into all programs within the Children and Family Center. Participating with reading and singing Groups, being part of our Play Groups and getting to know our Mother and Fathers. By having the Elders in the groups gives the parents another avenue of support.
